Earth's only superhuman just died attempting to defend it from a natural disaster. Inspired by his selflessness, and determined not to let his work be in vain, his followers unite to continue his work. For that mission, however, they need an army. Using science, they attempt to recreate the powers of the original superhuman, hoping to make up for in strength what they lack in numbers. 'The Waiting Room'
DESCRIPTION: With the shifting, crossing realities of parallel universes, there are bound to be mistakes. Deaths meant for people on one plane can, at times, end the lives of people on another when they slip through the seams of reality. This makes processing their journeys to the next life complicated to say the least. Until these "glitches" are cleared up, and the deaths rightfully assigned or resolved, the victims pass time in the Waiting Room, reflecting and learning as their new shells await. The bureaucracy of this afterlife is managed by Saul Terth and his unnamed associate.

'Run N' Gun'

Animated Web Shorts.
Patrice was looking for her father, a down and out, two bit hustler who decided to finally "be somebody" in her life a couple of days before her 18th birthday. He came through alright.. The key worked -- after she wiped the blood of God knows who off of it -- and opened a safe deposit box in the interstate subway system's terminal. The same terminal with security protocols almost as high as the premier airports in the United Americas. The box held her father's birthday presents for her: an outlawed key chain gun with two vials of A-5 powder, a map to the storage location of outmoded war mechas, and four barely legible digits of a phone number.
